![]() ![]() Two years later, the band released their debut album, Los Chicos Quieren Rock, but success came along with 1989's Furtivos, which included one of the biggest hits the four-piece act ever composed, "Rock del Gato." This led Ratones Paranoicos to sign a deal with Sony Music and work alongside former Rolling Stones' producer Andrew Oldham to release Fieras Lunaticas (1991), which included the hit "Rock del Pedazo." In 1992, the band opened for Keith Richard and Guns N' Roses in Buenos Aires, and three years later for the Rolling Stones during their five dates at River Plate Stadium (the country's largest), before a 300,000 member audience. Argentine Latin rock ensemble Ratones Paranoicos formed in 1984, and was mainly influenced by the Rolling Stones (frontman and singer Juan Sebastian Gutierrez (aka Juanse) has repeatedly stated that the Stones are as necessary as medicine to him).
